Researchers recently published a paper on the utilization of a synthetically generated DNA sequence to cause a software buffer spillover and false computer command interpretation. While not realistic in the real world currently, as biometrics and DNA analysis becomes more mainstream how else can we see this type of interaction occur? Everyone enjoys referring back to Gattaca as the premier genetically modified human dystopia, but what if instead of worrying about his height he instead was in a fight to beat the sequencers through a combination of software and bioware modifications?
